Walter Burk, 75, of Boston, passed away Saturday May 26, 2018 at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born March 26, 1943 in Louisville, retired self-employed construction clean up, and a member of First General Baptist Church in Shepherdsville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Belinda Burk; son, Walter LeRoy Burk Jr.; parents, Floyd and Virginia Burk; two brothers, and two sisters.

He is survived by his daughter, Sandra (Johnny Baumgardner) Johnson of Boston; son, Floyd (Michael Graves) Burk of Radcliff; granddaughter, Amanda Johnson of Boston; two brothers; one sister, and two special friends, Robin Reid, and Ashley Bush both of Springfield. His funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday June 2, 2018 at First General Baptist Church, with burial in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Boston.

Rev. Glen Atherton will officiate. Visitation will be 1 to 8 pm Friday June 1 and 9 to 11 am Saturday June 2 at First General Baptist Church in Shepherdsville.

Memorial contributions may go to his loving granddaughter, Amanda Johnson.
