William “Bucko” Coleman, Sr. January 19, 1939 – May 23, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card William “Bucko” Coleman, Sr., 80, of Adger, AL passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019. He was a member of Dogwood Grove Baptist Church. He retired from Jim Walter Mines #3 with 37 years of service.

Bucko was an avid Alabama fan. He was a loving husband, devoted father and a proud PawPaw. Bucko was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Coleman; his son, William Jr. and his sister, Charlotte Etheridge.

Bucko is survived by his daughter, Laura Goodwin; his grandchildren, Brandy (Cary) Britnell, Nikki (Blake) Snider and Tyler Goodwin; his one great grandson, Christian Belcher; his brothers, Frank (Charlotte) Coleman; Dewey Coleman, John (Jean) Coleman, Tommy (Becky) Coleman, Ronny (Charlene) Coleman and his sisters, Rachel (Roger) Anderson, Sue (Gary) Humphryes, Alice Whitfield and Bonnie Ferguson. Church service will be held at Dogwood Grove Baptist Church, 8736 Dogwood Grove Rd, Adger, AL 35006, on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10 – 11 a.m. Burial will be at Dogwood Grove Cemetery. Pastor Bob Fitzgerald will be officiating.
