William E. Parks, 77, of Palmyra and formerly of Lawn passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the M. S. Hershey Medical Center. Born December 16, 1940 in Clearfield, he was a son of the late Glenn and Helen (Rarick) Parks and was also preceded in death by brothers Robert Parks and Ronald Parks. He retired from Milton Hershey School where he was maintenance supervisor for 17 years and, along with his wife, was a houseparent for over 13 years.

A graduate of Milton Hershey School and U. S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a life member of the Milton Hershey Alumni Association, American Legion and VFW. Bill was a member of Millerstown Moose, Brownstone Lodge #666 F. & A.M., past master of Spring Creek Lodge F. & A.M., and an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving are his wife of 56 years Bonita K. (Norton) Parks; son Richard, husband of Mary Parks of North Irwin; daughter Stephanie Lupacchini of Harrisburg; grandchildren Jason Parks, Rebecca, wife of Jeremy Blevins, and Ryan Parks; and a great granddaughter Parker Blevins.

A memorial service will be held 12:30 PM Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. A masonic service will begin Tuesday at 10:45 AM. Interment, with military honors, will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
