WILLIAM ROBERT ROACH, SR. , age 64, of 121 Archie Clayton Road, Roxboro, NC, died Sunday morning, April 29, 2018 at Universal Healthcare in Oxford, NC. Mr. Roach was born March 3, 1954 in Pittsylvania County, VA son of the late Rison “Pet” & Burter Mae Roach and was husband to the late Wanda Mitchell Roach.

He was retired from Goldkist and farming and was a member of Community Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Roach & husband, Bruce, Elizabeth Roach, all of Roxboro, three brothers, Leroy Roach & wife, Margie, Leon Roach & wife, Malinda, Earl Roach & wife, Lucille, sister, Bertha Southern & husband, Gordon, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife Mr. Roach is preceded in death by a son, William Robert Roach, Jr, three sisters, Virginia McKay, Frances Rowland, Charlene Wesley, two brothers, Warren Roach and James Roach.

Memorial services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at Community Baptist Church by the Rev. Jay Geisler. The family will receive friends and guests for one hour prior to the service at the church.
