JUSTIN LAWRENCE CLAYTON, age 44 of 210 Tonawanda Drive, Madison, NC died Monday morning, July 23, 2018 at his home. Mr. Clayton was born November 15, 1973 in Durham County, NC son of Henry Steve Clayton & Jacquelyn Gale Howle Fulcher. He was sales manager for Smart Chevrolet and was of the Baptist faith.

Justin had many interests which included his job, cooking, reading, guns, golfing, and enjoying a good cigar. It gave him great pleasure in making people happy and making them smile, he lived life to its fullest and would light up the room when he entered. Surviving in addition to his parents are a son, Cutter Clayton, two sisters, Susanna Shelton & husband, Earl of Sanford, NC, Amanda Scattergood & fiancée, Jeff Bailey of Springfield, IL, brother, Kyle Clayton of Denver, CO, step-mother, Leanne Munsey Clayton, paternal grandmother, Banna Clayton, maternal grandmother, Betsy Howle, and maternal grandparents, Leroy Munsey & wife, Shelia.

Mr. Clayton is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Elmer “Tojo” Clayton and Tom Howle. The family will receive friends and guests Friday, July 27, 2018 from 6:00 till 7:30 p.m. at Strickland and Jones Funeral Services. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Smart Chevrolet.
