JEREMY CHAD HUMPHRIES, age 36, of Roxboro, NC, died Wednesday afternoon, September 5, 2018 at his home. Mr. Humphries was born September 24, 1981 in Person County, NC son of the late William David “Hump” Humphries and Sara Rogers Humphries who survives. He was a brick mason and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to his mother are a sister, Jessica Faith Humphries, paternal grandfather, Brann Humphries, maternal grandparents, Jimmy & Jane Moore Rogers, two nieces, Faith Ann Whitt, Layla Rae Whitt, and several aunts and uncles. In addition to his father, Mr. Humphries is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Doris Clayton Humphries. The family will receive friends and guests anytime at the home, 1999 Old Durham Road, Roxboro, NC and also at the home of his grandfather, Brann Humphries, 1983 Old Durham Road, Roxboro, NC.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date. Arrangements are by Strickland and Jones Memorial Funeral Services, 1810 Durham Road, Roxboro, NC 27573. Online condolences may be made at stricklandandjonesfs.com.
