Yolanda L. Martinez falleció el 29 de abril de 2018 en Arlington, Texas. La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo el jueves 3 de mayo de 2018 a las 10:00 a.m. en la iglesia católica St. Matthew, 2021 New York Ave. Arlington, Texas 76010.
Las visitas serán de 6:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. en la Capilla de las funerarias familiares Driggers y Decker con la recitación del Santo Rosario a partir de las 7:00 p.m. Yolanda nació el 15 de junio de 1962 hija de Gilberto Martinez y Clara López en Oaxaca, México. Yolanda era una católica devota y tenía un amor especial por los ángeles. Ella fue una mujer inspiradora, que dedicó toda su vida a su hijo, Saúl.
Le encantaba estar con su familia y siempre fue la vida de la fiesta. Ella podía contar chistes que podrían hacer reír a cualquiera. También le encantaba bailar y tomar algo de vez en cuando con su familia y amigos.
Le gustaba cocinar para su familia y ayudar con fiestas familiares. Yolanda era una mujer extremadamente dedicada y trabajadora; y fue muy detallado en todo lo que hizo. Ella siempre estaba allí cuando la necesitabas y estaba dispuesta a dar consejos cuando se lo pedían.
Ella también podría dar los mejores cortes de pelo. Por encima de todo lo que hizo Yolanda, pasar tiempo con Saul era su favorito. Salían a caminar juntos en el parque, iban a ver las películas más recientes, escuchaban música y disfrutaban el uno con el otro.
Ella adoraba a su hijo y él era su orgullo y alegría. Todos los que la conocieron echan de menos la cara sonriente y la personalidad optimista de Yolanda. Yolanda fue precedida en la muerte por sus padres, Gilberto Martinez y Clara López y hermana Norma Martinez Lopez.
Le sobrevive su hijo, Saul Castrejon Jr . ; hermanas, Silvia Ramírez, Mauricia Martínez, Noemí Martínez De Ramos, María Julia Martínez de Sánchez, Irma Martínez, Lilia Martínez y María Paz Martínez; hermano, Javier Martínez y muchas sobrinas y sobrinos. Yolanda L. Martinez passed away on April 29, 2018 in Arlington, Texas.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 10:00AM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2021 New York Ave. Arlington, Texas 76010. Visitation will be from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Driggers and Decker Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00PM.
Yolanda was born on June 15, 1962 to Gilberto Martinez and Clara Lopez in Oaxaca, Mexico. Yolanda was a devout Catholic and had a special love for angels. She was an inspiring woman, who dedicated her entire life to her son, Saul.
She loved being with her family and was always the life of the party. She could tell jokes that could make anybody laugh. She also loved to dance and have the occasional drink with her family and friends.
She enjoyed cooking for her family and helping with family parties. Yolanda was an extremely dedicated and hard-working woman; and was very detailed in everything she did. She was always there when you needed her and was willing to give advice when asked.
She could also give the best haircuts around! Above everything Yolanda did, spending time with Saul was her favorite. They would go on long walks together in the park, go see the newest movies, listen to music and enjoyed being with one another.
She adored her son and he was her pride and joy. Yolanda’s smiling face and upbeat personality will be missed by all who knew her. Yolanda was preceded in death by her parents, Gilberto Martinez and Clara Lopez, sister, Norma Martinez Lopez She is survived by her son, Saul Castrejon Jr.; sisters, Silvia Ramirez, Mauricia Martinez, Noemi Martinez De Ramos, Maria Julia Martinez de Sanchez, Irma Martinez, Lilia Martinez and Maria Paz Martinez; brother, Javier Martinez and many nieces and nephews.
