Zane Orion Loy May 25, 1936 – January 21, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Zane Orion Loy, 82, of Shanks, WV passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA. Born on May 25, 1936 in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Orion M. Loy and Maude Grady Loy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was the owner/operator of Hillcrest Farms. He was an amazing father, husband, grandfather, and uncle. He never met a stranger and always had an open door to his home and chicken house.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Olga Pownall. He is survived by his wife, Judith Ann McDonald Loy, a son, Allen Loy of Shanks, WV, a daughter, Vicki Parker (John) of Augusta, WV; 4 grandchildren: Zach Loy (Samantha), Jessi Smith, Casey Shauf and Mandy Loy (Adam); 7 great-grandchildren: Jordan Haines, Anden Shauf, Isis Shauf, Kyle Loy, Audrey Loy, Emaline Loy and Julien Smith. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 7:00 PM at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta, WV with Pastor David Bradfield officiating.
