Ruckman January 14, 1923 – February 23, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries Pearl Iona Combs Ruckman, 96, of Augusta, WV passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Hampshire Center Romney, WV. Born on January 14, 1923 in Rock Oak, WV, she was the daughter of the late Riley and Amy (Poland) Combs. Pearl was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and loved quilting, working in her garden and spending time with family and friends.

She was a member of the Zoar Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband,Cecil “Jr” Ruckman in 1994, also by a brother, Welton Combs, and three sisters, Madeline Lewis, Helen Lewis, and Mary Daugherty. Surviving is a son, Danny Ruckman (Donna) of Augusta, a sister, Claris Alkire of Winchester, VA; two grandchildren, Denise Blevins, (Shayne), Dana Ruckman (Kelly) and six great -grandchildren: Tyler, Jason, Ashton, Allysen, Haden & Hunter.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 26, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta, WV. Interment will follow in Tearcoat Cemetery, Augusta, WV. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
