Born on January 19, 1946 in Romney, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Ray Saville and Lillian Pauline (Pownall) Saville. Karen worked as a cashier for Dollar General.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved being with family and friends. Surviving are four daughters, Janet Brown (Bobby) of Delray, WV, Brenda Barnhart (Paul) of Avon, Ohio, Debbie Hines (Paul) of Purgitsville, WV, Cyndi Davis (Brian) of Romney; three sons: Craig Ganoe (Amy) of Romney, Tommy Ganoe (Barb) of Petersburg, WV, Gary Ganoe (Amanda) of Romney; ten grandchildren: Douglas, Stacy, Joseph, Jade, Robert, Allison, J.D., Timmy, Trevor, Kady, two step-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 19, 2019 at 12:00 P.M. in McKee Funeral Home Chapel, 115 E. Birch Lane, Romney, WV with Pastor Harold George officiating.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home. All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Romney, WV.
