Born on November 2, 1956 in Winchester, VA, he was the son of the late Thomas Duncan and Mammie Simmons Duncan. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Paul, Edward, and Thomas Duncan, Jr. and 3 sisters, Hazel Corbin, Deloris Parker and Dorothy Biller.

He is survived by a son, Jerry A. Duncan, Jr. of Winson-Salem, NC; a daughter, Shannon Battle of Locust Grove, VA; 4 brothers: John Duncan, Floyd Duncan, Dick Duncan, all of Romney, Gary Duncan of Keyser, WV; 3 sisters: Betty Hutzell of Oldtown, MD, Thelma Ludwick of Augusta, WV and Sharon Pownell of Romney, WV and 3 grandchildren, Jacqueline Duncan, Colton Duncan and Michael Duncan. All arrangements are private and handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
