Born on October 7, 1942 in Winchester, VA, she was the daughter of the late Stewart Patterson and Enola Hiett Patterson. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Nickleson and 2 sisters, Faye Beth Braithwaite and Judy Thomas.

She is survived by a daughter, Angie Whetzel of Winchester, VA; 2 sons, Bryan Presgraves of Augusta, WV and Emmett Jay Presgraves of Winchester, VA; 2 sisters, Sandy Vance of Winchester, VA and Joanne Underwood of Romney, WV, 4 grandchildren, and7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 4:00 PM at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta, WV with Jason Judy officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until time of service.
