Agnes “Aggie”‘s Obituary Agnes Klein, 73, Minot, ND, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019, at Trinity Hospital in Minot. Agnes Margaret Ziegler was born May 20, 1945, the daughter of John and Lucy (Heintz) Ziegler, in Rugby, ND. She was raised on the family farm located near Orrin, ND, and she attended Rosebush Country School near Orrin.

Aggie was once married to Wilfred Klein. From this union, two sons, Daniel and Willy, were born. She later attended Minot State University in Bottineau, where she received an Associate’s degree in Accounting in 1999.

Upon graduation, she worked in various cities in North Dakota finally settling in Minot, where she began her employment with the Lundeen family at Tires Plus for almost 15 years. She was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Minot. She enjoyed gardening, playing darts, Bingo and Solitaire, and visiting with people.

Agnes was a people person. She was the life of the party and every gathering. Despite battling cancer for the past five years, she always had a smile on her face and room in her heart for everyone she cared for.

Despite her small frame, she could also deliver a large verbal or non-verbal message that you could definitely understand. Her two sons can attest to that. Surviving family includes: sons, Dan Klein and his special friend, Loretta Porter, Karlsruhe, ND, and Willy (Sarah) Klein, Vista, CA; grandchildren, Andrea F. Klein, and Erick D. Klein; four brothers, John Ziegler, Jamestown, ND; Tony (Diana) Ziegler, Peoria, AZ; Joe (Cindy) Ziegler, Naples, FL; and LeRoy Ziegler, Tempe, AZ; three sisters, Elizabeth Reider, Drake, ND; Jennie Bachmeier, Bismarck, ND; Bertha Scofield, St. Anthony, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Richard Ziegler, sister, Magdalena Bachmeier, infant brother, George Ziegler, and four brothers-in-law, Anton “Tony” Bachmeier, Lawrence Bachmeier, Henry Reider, and Richard Scofield. Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, February 22, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Minot. Interment: Sts.

Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Karlsruhe, ND. Visitation: Thursday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Vigil Prayer Service: Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
