Obituary of Alfred Davidson Jr. Alfred J. Davidson Jr. of Tappan passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the age of 67. Al was born in Nyack, N.Y. on January 7, 1951 to Alfred and Mary Davidson. Al married Mary Stala on August 25, 1997 .

Al grew up on Jay Street in Stony Point N.Y. and served in The United States Navy, where he received The National Defense Service Medal. He worked for Orange and Rockland Utilities, as a Foreman in the Line department until his retirement after 30 years of dedication. Since retiring Al spent his time planning family vacations to Disney, Lancaster & Wildwood.

Al had a passion for cooking and seeking out the freshest foods that were perfect for him to prepare each family meal. Most of all Al loved watching his son T.J. play baseball. Al is survived by his wife of 21 years Mary, his children Camille Glendon and her husband Chris, Jay Davidson and his wife Allison and his beloved son T.J.; his grandchildren Tyler, Natalie, Travis and Sam, his siblings; Billy Davidson and his wife Pat, MaryJean Funcheon and her husband Tom and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Al is predeceased by his parents Alfred and Mary. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home, Inc.728 West Nyack Rd. , West Nyack, NY 10994 (845) 358-4433 www.
