Obituary of Teresa Macera Teresa Macera passed away peacefully on November 28, 2018. She was born in Esperia, in the province of Frosinone, Italy on August 13, 1929 to Domenico and Paola Ferrara where she lived a simple life with her brothers and sisters until she was married on August 6, 1954. At the age of 27 she emigrated to the United States with her husband Carmine who pre-deceased her 7 years ago.

They settled in the Bronx where they lived most of their lives and raised their family. She is survived by her son Anthony, his wife Sylvia and their daughter Victoria Lily, her daughter Anna and her husband Eddie and their children Anthony, Nicholas, Enrica and Deanna. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and her family.

She is also survived by her sister Assunta Fecci and her husband Giuseppe, her brother Luigi Ferrara, her sister-in-law Angelina Ferrara and her brother Antonio Ferrara and his wife Civita and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. While our world shines less brightly without her in it, heaven has undoubtedly become a brighter and more joyous place. We will miss her greatly.
