Alma Nelson Stultz, 88, of Fieldale, VA passed away Monday, April 30, 2018. She was born November 30, 1929 in Martinsville, VA to the late Charlie Wilbur Nelson and Ruby Gunter Nelson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brice Martin “Spider” Stultz; son, Scott Nelson Stultz; son-in-law, Ralph William Carroll, Sr.; and brother, Jackie Wilson Nelson.

Mrs. Stultz was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church. She retired in 1992 from Centel Telephone… Read More » Company. She had been chairperson for March of Dimes Walk America from 1988 to 1991.

She is survived by her daughter, Tami Stultz Carroll of Stanleytown, VA; and is also survived by her granddog, Trooper. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Christian Church with Jim Pence officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at the church.

Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Christian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pleasant Grove Christian Church Cemetery Fund, 5285 Preston Rd. , Martinsville, VA 24112.
