Andrea Kay Trembath (Andy) age 66, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully June 6th, 2018 in St Louis Park, Minnesota. She was surrounded by her family including her beloved sons. Andrea was born on July 17, 1951 in Negaunee, Michigan.

She was a graduate of Marquette Senior High School and Northern Michigan University with a B.S. in Psychology. Her mother, Margaret, taught her the art of handwork which was a cornerstone of her life.

Throughout her life in times of hardship or joy, she would be drawn back to these loves to find solace and meditation. Her passion for life and beautiful things was and will be continually felt and carried forward by those she loved. Her passion for music started at an early age and continued throughout her life.

She more recently loved to sing at her weekly folk music jam in Minnesota. Andrea is survived by her sons, Evan and Brian Horton; her mother, Margaret Trembath; her sister, Kathy Trembath Spellmire (Jim Spellmire); two brothers, Robin Trembath (Linda Trembath) and Mark Trembath (Marla Trembath); a sister in-law, Linda Dix; nieces and nephew, Erica, Janis, Angelique, Leslie, Olivia and Jeffrey; two great nieces and one great nephew. Andrea was preceded in death by her father, Pershing Trembath.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home in Marquette Michigan on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. Family visitation from 11AM to 12 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 12PM and a luncheon immediately thereafter. Donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation in Andrea’s name.
