Virginia “Cricket” C. Fyvie, 65, of Marquette, formerly of Newberry, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at her home. She was born April 29, 1953 in Ypsilanti, Michigan, a daughter of the late Kenneth Fyvie and Edith (Fisher) Brown. She was a 1971 graduate of Newberry High School and attended Bay Community College.

Cricket had been employed since 1993 as a long haul truck driver. Her interests included playing BINGO, trips to the casino, gardening and reading. She is survived… Read More » by a son, Peter Fyvie of Marquette; siblings, Kenneth Fyvie of McMillan, Breanda (Keith) Mason of Iron Mountain, MI and Melodie (Randal) McLaren of Iron Mountain; and nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nora Jean. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 1 pm at Northland Chapel Gardens Mausoleum. The Canale-Tonella Funeral Home is assisting the family.
