Lehmann, Ann L. (Oldenburg, Newton) Madison – Ann Lehmann passed away peacefully on Saturday May 5th. at Agrace HospiceCare. Ann was born October 19, 1941 to Clarence and Lucille Oldenburg in Sparta, WI, and grew up in Norwalk.

Ann graduated from Norwalk High School, where she played the trombone and sang in the choir. She moved to Madison, where she worked for many years in several restaurants, and later as a paralegal for Ken Hur. Ann worked with others to get the Community Center built at Kennedy Heights where she lived and volunteered for 31 years.

She also volunteered and served on a City of Madison Commission for a few years. Ann loved animals and had two cats for years that gave her comfort – Mittens would do tricks, saying “hello” and “mama”. Ann loved to work in her flower garden.

Ann is survived by her four children, Robert Oldenburg, Michelle Oldenburg (Randy Faulkner), Christiana Newton and Scott (Robin) Newton; and grandchildren, James and Samantha Oldenburg, Hailey Brill, Jordan, Brooke, Morgan and Mason Newton. She is also survived by her brothers, Norman (Cindy) Oldenburg and Lawrence (Sharon) Oldenburg; niece, Jody Bauman with Bart, Justin and Jayme; nephews, Eric (Josie) Oldenburg, Tommy and Nick, and three grand-nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband, Richard Newton, and brother, Donald Oldenburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Kennedy Heights Community Center, 199 Kennedy Heights Madison, Wis. 53704. A service will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 12th at Ryan Funeral Home, 2418 N. Sherman Ave.
