Obituary for Anna Lou Young (Dye) Anna Lou Dye Young, age 78, of Swords Creek, Virginia; beloved mother, grandmother and sister, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday (June 3, 2018). Born January 28, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Margie Dye. She was well loved by her family and church.

She was very passionate in her faith and love of God. She was very faithful to the Swords Creek Block Church, where she served as the piano player for forty years. She touched many lives throughout her seventy-eight years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Daniel Dye; two sisters-in-law, Joann Dye and Janice Dye and one niece, Deaun Dye Brocmyre. Survivors include five daughters, Bonita Ratliff and husband Rinnie of Horry, South Carolina, Silverlee Wallace and fiancé, Phil of Margate, Florida, Sherry Price and husband, Adam of Swords Creek, Virginia, Shelia Girten and husband, Mike of Bristol, Tennessee and Kimberly Bentley and husband, Chuck of Cedar Bluff, Virginia; one son, John Cox and wife, Pat of Bristol, Tennessee; three brothers, Don Dye and wife, Shirley of Bristol, Tennessee, Lloyd Dye and wife, Libby of Bluefield, Virginia; Travis Dye of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Phyllis Dye of Roanoke, Virginia; twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Wednesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.

Steve Perkins and Rev. Rick Whitt officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Barry Honaker, John Metcalf, Jonathan Girten, Dakota Honaker, Colton Shortridge and Anthony Price. The family will receive friends after 6 PM Tuesday at the Honaker Funeral Home, where an evening song service will be conducted at 7 PM. Online condolences may be made at www.
