Anna Louise’s Obituary TROUTDALE, VA Anna Louise Young age 91, passed away on Monday January 14, 2019 at her home in Troutdale, VA. Ms. Young was born in Grayson County to the late Oscar & Jettie Anderson Young. She is also preceded in death by her two sisters Cletia Young Moore and Betty Grey Young, which she was caregiver to for many years.

She was blessed with a green thumb and never hesitated to share the fruits of her gardening. Anna was a lifetime member of the Grace United Methodist Church and gave countless years of service with organizing community events. She proudly served the state for over 30 years in the pharmacy department for the SWVA Mental Health Institute.

Alongside her service to the state, she loved volunteering at the election polls. Lastly, Anna had a giving spirit, she was a loving neighbor, she created treasured family recipes, and was an exceptional aunt to countless children. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great, great-great, and great great-great nieces & nephews, along with numerous friends, other loving family and her church family.

The family would like to express a special Thanks to Dr. Clampitt, Shiela, Pat Storey, Ruth Ann & Marilyn for all the care given to Ms. Young. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday January 17, 2019 at Rose Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Emmit Wilson officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
