Kathern Ennis’ Obituary CHILHOWIE, VA Kathern Ennis Combs, age 88, of Elkton, MD, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Born in Smyth County, VA, on July 14, 1930, she was the daughter of the late William and Frankie Sullivan Trivett. Mrs. Combs retired from Terumo, Elkton, after many years of service.

She was a member for 40 years of Fellowship Baptist Church, Elkton, where she held the distinction as the oldest member. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed when all five generations were together. Survivors include her children, Della Simpson, Elkton, MD, Norma Benjamin (Wayne), Rising Sun, MD, Lee Roy Combs, Jr. (Laura), Mary Lee Ganzman, and Danny Combs (Rhonda), all of Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Duane (Kim), Karen (Jimbo), Mark (Angie), Paul (Belinda), Heather (Drew), Richard (Mallory), Katie, Cathy (Clifton), and Bill; great-grandchildren, Cooper, Kensi, AJ, Cara, Ava, Charlotte, Brantlee, Samantha, Amber, Devin, Logan, Anthony, Tiffany, James, Olivia, Mark, Courtney, Sondra, Paul, and William; great-great-grandchildren, Anthony, Cayden, Audrey, Everleigh, Cali, Charlie, Wyatt, Ori, Ava, Steven, and Ariana; and sisters, Mildred McPherson, Fairfax, VA, Eula Heath, Chilhowie, VA, and Margaret Miller, West Virginia.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Combs was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Lee Roy Combs; sister, Clyde Adams; and brother, James “Robert” Trivett. Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Tuesday January 22, 2019 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Pastor Dennis Eller officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00PM on Tuesday at the church. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www. bradleysfh.com.
