Obituary for Anna Mae Sheaffer (McCorkle) Anna M. Sheaffer, 93, of Hummelstown, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018. She was born on October 21, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Ada Smith and Harvey McCorkle. Anna married her high school sweet heart, Paul R. Sheaffer on March 30, 1947.

Anna worked for Hershey Foods Corporation in the wrapping department. She was a 1943 graduate of Hershey High School. Anna was a member of Spring Creek Church of the Brethren.

She enjoyed taking care of her family, puzzles, gardening, and latch hooking. Anna is survived by two sons, Glen R. Sheaffer husband of Marina G. and Larry P. Sheaffer husband of Patti A. of Hummelstown; a daughter, Kay L. Lookenbill wife of Bradley H. of Ulysses; five grandchildren, Stephanie A. Smith wife of Scott, Mary Beth Yee wife of Martin, Brian Sheaffer husband of Bridget, Brad Sheaffer, and Mike Solomikin fiancée of Ina; four great-grandchildren Caden, Brady, and Dylan Smith and Ethan Yee; and four siblings Mabel Deppen of Elizabethtown, Jeanette Vozzella of Hershey, James McCorkle of Palmyra, and Janice Trimble wife of Howard of Hershey. A memorial service will be held on Friday April 20, 2018 at 11 AM in the Spring Creek Church of the Brethren 335 East Areba Avenue, Hershey.

A visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service in the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Spring Creek Church of the Brethren at 335 East Areba Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033. Online condolences may be shared at www.
