Obituary for Tanya Fox (Shirey) Tanya N. (Shirey) Fox, 39, of Hummelstown, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018, and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Born in the Harrisburg on October 6, 1978, she was the daughter of Lori F. (Furman) Keener wife of Brent E. of Hummelstown, and Steven Shirey husband of Sherrie of Lebanon. Tanya was a 1997 graduate of Palmyra High School; and graduated from medical business school with a focus on medical billing.

She had a fond love of dogs; and enjoyed listening to music and dancing. In addition to her parents, Tanya is survived by her sister, Julie D. Webber of Palmyra; her maternal grandmother, Shirley (Chapman) Baum of Palmyra; two nephews, Corey Webber and Colyn Fye both of Lebanon; one niece, Jailah Rosado of Hershey; two step-sisters, Cassandra (Keener) Gulden of North Haven, CT, and Danielle (Keener) MacQuire of Thorndale; her fiance, Greg Lhommes of Camp Hill; two uncles, Craig Furman husband of Libya of Owings Mills, and Lynn Shirey of Palmyra; two aunts, Patrice Zeiger wife of Paul of Palmyra, and Gail Spitler; two close cousins, Jennifer Furman of Hummelstown, and Bethany Spitler of Middletown; and numerous additional cousins. Tanya was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Glenn Furman; and paternal grandparents, Patricia Landis and Erwin Shirey.

Prayer service will be held Friday, July 27, 2018, at 2 PM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev. Fr. Michael G. Metzgar of Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Harrisburg, as officiant.

Interment will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Friends and relatives are invited to the viewing Friday from 1 PM until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tanya’s memory to the Children’s Miracle Network, PO Box 850, Hershey, PA 17033.
