Obituary for Lucinda M.”Cindy” Beers (Behrens) Lucinda “Cindy” M. Behrens Beers, 52, of Hershey, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018, with her loving family by her side. Born in Harrisburg on August 25, 1965, she was the daughter of Delores A. Dupler Behrens of Hummelstown and the late Benjamin A. Behrens. Cindy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.

She was a 1984 graduate of Central Dauphin High School. Cindy was a member of Chambers Hill United Methodist Church. She loved nothing more than spoiling her grandbabies; and enjoyed woodworking, baking, crafting and crocheting.

Along with her mother, Cindy is survived by her husband of 33 years, William H. “Harry” Beers, Sr., whom she married on September 22, 1984; her loving children, Alissa M. Guzman of New Bloomfield, Jessica S. Turley wife of Chad of Palmyra, and Willian H. Beers, Jr. fiancé of Kaitlyn Smith of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren, Kierra, Enola, Lillie-Ann, Alondra, Lucas, Wyatt and David; four sisters, Deborah Weaver wife Rod, Joy Gawel wife of Rick, Belinda Miller wife of Frank, and Dawn Dostalik wife of Doug; one brother, Randy Behrens; her mother in law, Elinor Osborne; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Cindy was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, David Beers and John Osborne. Funeral service will be held Friday, June 22, 2018, at 11:00 AM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev.

Frank N. Miller, her brother-in-law, officiating. Inurnment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. A visitation will be held in the funeral home on Friday from 10 AM until time of the services.
