Johnson, of Tustin, formerly of Owosso, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Altercare of Big Rapids. She was 83. Mrs. Johnson was born May 17, 1935 in Greenville, MI to William Harold and Clara Louise (Melinowski) Westbrook.

Arlene spent most of her life in the Owosso area and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and reading. Arlene is survived by her eight children, Melody (Keith) Lavery of Indiana, Steve Johnson of Florida, Tim (Sherri) Johnson of Edmore, Jeff Johnson of Grand Rapids, Tammy Parish of Tustin, Melissa (Karl) Olsen of Traverse City, Arlene Lewis of Owosso, and Snow White Lewis of Evart, 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, two sisters, Pat Fuller of Greenville, and Mary Lou Westbrook of Greenville, and three brothers, William Westbrook of Greenville, Jim (Linda) Westbrook of Greenville, and John (Angelamae) Westbrook of Greenville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Theresa, and three grandchildren, Dominique Lewis, Josh Campbell, and Maria Hager. Funeral services honoring Arlene Grace Johnson are 1:00pm Saturday, January 12th at the Corey Funeral Home in Evart with visitation Saturday 11:00am until time of services. Mrs. Johnson will be interred in Sylvan Township Cemetery, Osceola County, Michigan.

Memorial Contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society.
