Arthu Pau Cap Bianco , June 06, 1981 — January 01, 2019

Arthur “Cap” Paul CapoBianco Jr., 71, of Horner passed away January 1, 2019 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. He was born in Bridgeport, CT on October 26, 1947 a son of the late Arthur Paul and Catherine Wilmot CapoBianco. On June 6, 1981 he married Pam Riley and for 37 years they lived life to the fullest.

He will be missed by the family of his heart- sisters-in-law: Sharon Pinkney and boyfriend Buzz Vankirk, of Weston, WV and Sally Bennett and husband, Warren, of St. Mary’s, GA; brother-in-law, John Riley of Weston; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved Labradoodle, Cooper. Cap graduated from George Mason University with a master’s degree in Business Communications. After graduation, he went to work as a financial aid coordinator for Northern Virginia Community College before becoming a professor of Organizational Leadership at that college.

Turning his love of wine and people into a successful business, Cap left education and opened Deep Creek Gourmet Wine and Cheese Shop where he made the best memories of his life. The shop made him well known in the community where he made many friends that he loved dearly. Cap was an avid sports fan, a loyal fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots and collected baseball memorabilia.

His family will forever be grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff of United Hospital Center’s Cecil B. Highland, Jr. & Barbara B. Highland Cancer Center who were beside them every step of this difficult journey as well as all the staff who cared for him during his hospital stay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Hospital Center’s Cecil B. Highland, Jr. & Barbara B. Highland Cancer Center, 327 Medical Park Drive, Bridgeport, WV 26330. Cap’s request for cremation has been honored and a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 210 Center Ave.
