Barbara Ann (Turley) Bell 82, entered into rest, Monday January 21, 2019 at the Emogene Dolin Hospice House of Huntington after a short illness. Barbara was a 50 year resident of Hurricane, having grown up in South Charleston. She was a 1954 Graduate of South Charleston High School Black Eagles.

Barbara worked at the McJunkin Corporation until she had her second child, then she became a full-time mother. She returned to work later, and retired from Union Carbide at Institute with 12 years of service. Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clifford S. Bell of Hurricane, her parents; Ralph and Mildred (Gunnoe) Turley of Scott Depot, her son-in-law, David L. Workman and her sister, Jean Jackson of South Charleston.

Barbara leaves behind four children; Karen Workman of Nitro, David M. Walker, Douglas E. Walker both of Hurricane and Steven S. Walker (Jamie Christie) of St. Albans; four grandchildren, Stephanie Smith (Charles) of Cross Lanes, Ashley Walker (Rob) of South Charleston, Tyler Walker and Katlyn Christie of St. Albans, three great-grandchildren; Autumn Sheets, Addison Smith and Charles Walker, two sister-in-law’s, Iva Racer of Tampa. Fl and Reba Frazier of St. Albans, and a host of friends, cousins and extended family. Barbara’s wishes will be honored with a short service at Cunningham Memorial Park St. Albans, in the Lower Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev.
