Bernice Knotts Williams, daughter of the late D.E. Knotts and Beulah Phillips Knotts was born on August 9, 1930, and entered eternal life on March 13, 2019. She was 88 years, 7 months, and 4 days old. She entered eternal life peacefully at her home.

Bernice was an Optician for many years and loved helping people. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Dr. Charles H. Williams and her daughter, Charlene H. Williams. She is survived by her daughter Debbie K Williams (Gregory Collins), and a son Charles H Williams Jr. (Teresa Pigman Williams).

She had 2 grandchildren, Arianna Collins and Charles “Chaz” Williams. Bernice had 2 great grandchildren Margaret and Millicent Williams. She is also survived by 4 sisters: Doris Greene, Margo Davis, Janice Johnson and Sharon Hanners, and one brother: Donald Knotts.

Visitation will be at Letcher Funeral Home on Friday, March 15th at 6:00 P.M. and funeral on Saturday March 16th at 1:00 PM also at the Letcher Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Green Acres Cemetery immediately after service. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Whitesburg and Neon Lions Club for sight.

An organization near and dear to her heart, which she was a member of for many years.
