Raymond Bailey, 77, of Smoot Creek passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home. Raymond was the son of the late Howard and Opal Madden Bailey. Raymond was the widower of Ada Lee McClain Bailey.

Surviving is 4 children: Opal and Kevin Crawford of Little Colley, Raymond Gene and Terri Bailey, Annette and Ronnie Dinsmore, and Dale Bailey and Rick Russell all of Smoot Creek; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife: Ada Lee, 4 brothers: Jesse, Earl, Earnest, and Roscoe; 4 sisters: Lindy, Lula Bell, Liza Jean, and Matilda. Funeral: 2:00 O’clock P.M. Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Buddy Collins officiating.

Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday and 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
