Bobby James Ison, 86, of Jeremiah passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Bobby was the son of the late Ed and Martha Watts Ison. Surviving is his wife: Anis Caudill Ison; 1 brother: Edward Ison; 1 sister: Mary Carolyn (Tony) Blair.

Bobby was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Lilly, Manus, and Wayne. Funeral: 11:00 O’clock A.M. Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Cedar Grove Church with Danny Dixon, Elwood Cornett, Squire Watts, and Jeff Roark officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Ed Ison Family Cemetery at Hallie, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center.
