Obituary for Carol Smith (Shildt) Carol M. Smith, 73, of Burnham, passed away on Tuesday June 26, 2018 at William Penn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born August 4, 1943 in Yeagertown, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Edna (Hartzler) Shildt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gary L. Smith whom passed away July of 1997, and brothers, Billy, Marvin, Richard, Gene, Russell and David, and sister June Ann.

Carol will be remembered and missed by her children, Tina Smith of Burnham, Jo Ann Horner and husband Russ of Minnesota, and James Smith and wife Kristy of Lewistown, Siblings, Gerald Shildt of St. Thomas, and Joyce Leidy of Tennessee, Grandchildren, Jordan, Dustin, Tiffany and Kyle, and Great-Grandchildren, Dylan and Olivia. A graveside service in loving memory of Carol will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Juniata Memorial Park with Rev. John Walters officiating.

Arrangements are under the care of The Barr Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
