Obituary for Charles Cordell Harris Charles “Chuck” Cordell Harris, 77 of Hurricane passed away Wednesday September 12, 2018. Chuck was born in Ansted on February 6, 1941 to the late Julius and Sadie Harris. He was also preceded in death by his sister Joyce Kincaid.

Chuck served our country in the Army. He was also a retired pipefitter at Union Carbide, and a Christian by faith. Chuck was a freemason of Nitro Lodge 170 A.F. & A. M. Chuck is survived by his wife of 50 years Kay Harris of Hurricane; children, Brooke Perfater (Scott) of Ocoee, FL, Shane Harris of Cross Lanes, and Misty Menicucci (Matthew) of New Oxford, PA; sister, Dorothy Henthorn (Grover) of Richmond, IN; seven grandchildren, Alaina, Griffin, Will, and Garrett Perfater, Jackson and Caroline Harris and Katie Mae Menicucci; and many other extended family and friends A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 am Tuesday September 18, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home, Hurricane, with Reverend Peggy Larck officiating.

Friends are encouraged to visit with the family one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Shriners Children’s Hospital c/o Beni Kedem Shrine Temple 100 Quarrier Street Charleston WV 25301.
