Obituary for Charles Anderson Charles Anderson, age 82, of Hickory went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at his residence while under Hospice care. He was born February 4, 1936, son of the late Oscar and Emma Buckner Anderson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Wade Anderson; two brothers, Bobby and Ray Anderson; two sisters, Hazel Taylor and Marie Skillman.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Virginia Anderson of the home; four sons, Doug Anderson (Ann), Donald Anderson (Jackie), James Anderson (Wendy Eller), David Anderson (Audra) all of Hildebran; one daughter, Debbie McInnis (Mack Josey) of Hildebran; two sisters, Shirley Crawley (Ben) and Mary Founds both of Morganton; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog “Coco”.
