Charlotte Catherine Pape, 82, of Frostburg, MD, died Thursday, June 28, 2018, at WMHS Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, MD. Born September 7, 1935, in Finzel, MD, she was the daughter of the late Clarence M. & Martha Ellen (Caton) McKenzie, Sr.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard R. Pape.

Mrs. Pape was a homemaker. She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and the Eastern Garrett Firemen’s Auxiliary. She is survived by three daughters, Karen (Lonnie) Leggett, Boonsboro, MD, Donna K. (George) Lancaster, Lancaster, PA, Christy (fiance’, Wayne Resh) Pape, Grantsville, MD; six grandchildren, Richard Pape, Lori Schaffer, Stacey Blubaugh, Jody Rizer, Garrett Minnick, Samantha Schurg and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller Street, Grantsville, on Monday, July 2, 2018, from 1-3 pm. Services will follow at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Daniel Agnew officiating.

Interment will be in Emmanuel Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.
