William Henry Lindner, 77, of Accident, MD, died Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at WMHS Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, MD. Born October 9, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Ernest Christ and Elizabeth “Betty” (Hayen) Lindner. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Rev.

Ernest Lindner. Mr. Lindner was an elder caregiver and a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church, LCMS. He is survived by one brother, Roy H. Lindner, Elizabeth City, NC; two nieces and one nephew.

A graveside service will be held in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, LCMS, Thursday, September 20, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. James Oester officiating. Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, MD, is in charge of arrangements.
