Eva Jean Maust, 76, of Accident, MD, died Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, MD. Born April 9, 1942, in Springs, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman & Beulah (Yoder) Bender. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Oren Bender and four sisters, Viola Orendorf, Mary Anna Yoder, Miriam Yoder and Arlene Bender.

Mrs. Maust was a child care provider, having worked with Head Start and Cherry Glade Child Care and was a member of Cherry Glade Mennonite Church. She is survived by her husband, Harold J. Maust; two sons, Barry (Carol) Maust, and Jerry (Cindy) Maust, all of Accident; two daughters, Lisa (Merlin) Beitzel, Accident; Lorena (Kenneth) Weimer, McHenry; one brother, Carl Bender, Accident; three sisters, Erma Miller, London, OH; Doris Yoder, Grantsville; Beulah Jane Moser, Springs, PA; 13 grandchildren, Carrie (Sam) Frantz, Nathan Maust, Daniel (Danae) Beitzel, Janessa Beitzel, Eric Beitzel, Derrick (Atsidi) Maust, Kevin (Micah) Maust, Justin (Patricia) Maust, Lydia Maust, Lindsay Maust, Bryan Weimer, Mackenzie Weimer and Abby Weimer and two great granddaughters, Malia Frantz and Amberlin Maust. Friends will be received at Cherry Glade Mennonite Church, 4051 Accident-Bittinger Road, Accident, MD, on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.

Funeral services will be held at Cherry Glade Church on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 11 am with Pastor Steve Swartz officiating. Interment will be in Cherry Glade Cemetery. Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, MD is assisting with the arrangements.
