Ruby Canzada Bittinger, 88, of Accident, MD, died Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Frostburg Village Nursing Home, Frostburg, MD. Born November 5, 1929, in Hartman, AR, she was the daughter of the late Tom & Inez (McLester) Holt. Mrs. Bittinger was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Bittinger and a step-son, Roy Bittinger, Jr

Mrs. Bittinger was a member of the Garrett County Horseman’s Association and participated in the Wagon Train. She is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Woods, Waynesboro, PA; two step-daughters, Juanita Dowling, Clearwater, FL, Helen Garrison, TX; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a special friend, Duane Patton. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller Street, Grantsville, MD, on Thursday, September 6, 2018, from 10-11 am.

Services will immediately follow at 11:00 am in the chapel. Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.
