Timothy Eugene Fike, 50, of Oakland, MD, died Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at his home. Born November 28, 1967, in Oakland, he was the son of Martha Ann (Gank) Fike and the late Melvin Norris Fike. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, William Fike and uncle, Kenneth Gank.

Tim was a stocker at Wal-Mart in Oakland and was formerly a cook at Uno’s Restaurant at Deep Creek Lake. He loved to watch sports and was an avid Florida gator’s fan. Tim never met a stranger and was a loving person.

He enjoyed his life and loved his niece and nephew. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother, Melvin A. Fike and wife, Lisa, Accident, MD; two sisters, Cynthia A. Fike and Lorrie A. Burns and Husband, Robert “Bubba”, all of Oakland; a niece, Kristina Burns and a nephew, B.J. Burns. Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Drive, Oakland, on Friday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor William Skipper officiating.
