He was born January 15, 1962 in Whiteriver. He was the son of the late Oney and DenaAnn (Johnson) Massey.

Bob was a member of the Canyon Day Lighthouse Family Church and was a good friend that never belittled people and was always respectful of others. His strengths were in his humble prayerful life. And he was one heck of a basketball player, back in the days.

He always had kind words with a hand shake and a hug. He is survived by Brandon (Joe) Bones, Billie Jean (Fred) Thomas, Bernita (Daniel) Hinton, Berlinda Sue Massey, Brenda Kay Altaha, Yoshbel T. Benally, Kyrene DeClay, Daniel Dale Massey, Dave Davis Massey, Kylie Mansfield; god daughter: Konawva Beatty; god –brother: Franklin Silas; god-sisters: Lupita Gass, Malinda Cosen, Fern Beatty-Massey, Hilary Walker, Mariam Quintero; and adopted into their family as their own: son Dakota and Kelsey (Walker) Mansfield; as well as 26 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents: Oney Sr. and Dena Ann Massey; one daughter Deanna Massey; one brother Oney Massey Jr. and one sister Bernadine Massey.

A two night Wake will begin on Tuesday, January 15th, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Massey Residence in Turkey Creek Arizona. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm at the Riverside Church in East Fork with Pastor Mariella Joe, Officiating. Burial will follow at the Manzunita Cemetery in Turkey Creek, Arizona.
