Dennis’ Obituary Dennis Oliver Jackson, D.D.S., age 75, of Camp Hill, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 peacefully at his home while surrounded by his loving family. Born March 30, 1943 in Denver, CO, he was the son of the late Oliver and Daisy (Henry) Jackson. Dennis graduated from Grove City High School, Class of 1961 and went on to graduate from Grove City College.

He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Dental School, Class of 1968. Dennis was a long-standing member of the dental community in Mechanicsburg. An active and faithful member of Silver Spring Presbyterian Church, Dennis served as a Deacon, an Elder, and a trustee over the years.

In his free time, he enjoyed racing sailboats, flying radio-controlled airplanes, traveling, and spending time with his family. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Lynne Jackson; his children, Deborah Lawrence and Carl Oliver Jackson; their spouses, Jamie Lawrence and Suzanne Jackson; his grandchildren, Brian, Elizabeth, Addison, Grace, and Jackson Oliver; and his sister, Deanna Haskell. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 16 at Silver Spring Presbyterian Church, 444 Silver Spring Road, Mechanicsburg, where there will be a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

Inurnment will take place in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Silver Spring Presbyterian Church for the care and upkeep of the church’s cemetery wall.
