Dennis’ Obituary Dennis W. Welser, 72, of Bangor, PA passed away Thursday, February 21st, at his residence. Dennis was born in East Stroudsburg, PA on July 15, 1946, a son of the late Melvin John Welser and Dorothy (LaBar) Brinker. He was the widower of Sharon (Steer) Welser, who passed away in 2014.

Dennis was employed as a Truck Driver for ABE Materials in Easton, PA until retiring. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Dennis enjoyed riding his Harley and driving his truck.

Dennis was a life member of the Bangor VFW Post 739, life member of the Roseto Rod and Gun Club, life member of the Bangor Jacksonian Club, a member of the Roseto American Legion Post 750, and a member of the former Bangor American Legion. Dennis is survived by two daughters, Denise Welser and Stacy Welser-Spino, two sisters, Sharon Sylvester, and Catherine Achenbach, a brother, Neil Brinker, and 8 grandchildren Korrin Werner, Arthur Thomas III, Jacob Welser, Brian Welser, Matthew Spino, Amelia Spino, Eugene Spino, and Alex Welser A celebration of life service will be held from 2 PM to 6 PM on Saturday, March 2nd at the Bangor VFW Post 739, 202 Veterans Road, Bangor, PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, Bangor, PA.
