Dolly’s Obituary Dolly Ann Pyle (Cooper) age 77, residing at the Ridge Crest Nursing Center, in Warrensburg, Missouri, passed on into heaven at 12:10pm on December 6th, 2018 from natural causes during a sudden illness while at the HCA Midwest Health Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Dolly was born on Saturday, March 15th, 1941 in Briceville, Tennessee within Anderson County to 48 year old Mitt Cooper and 38 year old Eby Shown. Dolly was the youngest of nine siblings.

Dolly was preceded in death by her loving husband Glenn Kelly Pyle, two infant sons, seven brothers and sisters, her mom and dad and grandparents, et al. Dolly leaves behind one sister Betty Poore (Cooper), two sons and a daughter, David Wayne Pyle (Letty Pyle), Glenna Fay Johnson (John), Joseph Lynn Pyle (Hollie), seven grandchildren, Ruben Salinas, Stephanie Dahl (Chris), David Pyle Jr. (Victoria), Daniel, Skylar, Joseph and Ethan, and seven great-grandchildren. Dolly started her working career after her husband Glenn suddenly passed from cancer.

She found a passion that fit her perfectly and was right at home in the service industry. For approximately 10 years she worked at her family Old Fashion Missionary Baptist Church as a cleaner and a dishwasher at the local McDonald’s in Griffith, Indiana. Dolly never drove a vehicle, so her loving & committed daughters Glenna and Letty drove her to and from work every time for 10 years.

Dolly was very modest and old fashioned- she was known to wear only skirts and dresses (never pants or slacks) until she started working. Dolly’s all-time favorite thing to do was to sit and listen to the Gospel Channel on television every Wednesday and Sunday with her Bible in hand to follow scripture and look up passages. She loved her gospel music and collected hundreds of recorded cassette tapes of her songs.

Dolly’s celebration of life service will private in Warrensburg, Missouri. Dolly will be cremated after her celebration of life service, and her remains and urns will be cherished by her three children and many grandchildren. As for the rest of her ashes, they will finally join her loving late husband Glenn in a graveside memorial service in Indiana at a later time.
