Obituary for Donald Kitts Donald C. Kitts, 90 of Hurricane, passed away unexpectedly, on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at CAMC Hospital Memorial Division, Charleston WV. He was born on January 10, 1928 to the late Hugh C. and Beatrice E. Bays Kitts of South Charleston. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Lawerence and Reeford Kitts.

Don was retired after 37 years of service with Columbia Gas as a civil engineer, served his country in the US Army and a member of First Baptist Church of Hurricane. Surviving him are his wife of 65 years, Ida M. Crouse Kitts, daughters, Donna K. Sergent (Frank) of Hurricane and Kathryn Saunders (Scott) of Hebron KY, grandchildren Bradley (Ginger), Matthew (Kelly), and Corey (Katie) Sergent, Steven Cox and Brittany Burke, great-grandchildren Hailey Burke, Luke Sergent, Hank Sergent, and Quinn Sergent. Graveside service will be 11:00am Wednesday at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes with Pastor Jerry Losh.
