Obituary for Dorothy “Dottie” Happe Dorothy A. “Dottie” (Rexing) Happe, 72, of Evansville, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Heritage Center surrounded by family. Dottie was born July 15, 1946 to the late Sylvester Rexing and Mildred (Goedde) Rexing. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Wendel Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of almost 51 years, Thomas Happe; a daughter, Dina Harter and son, Allen Happe, both of Evansville; her mother, Mildred Rexing; sisters, Delores (Dan) Masterson of St. Philip, IN and Nancy (Mark) Schmitt, of Evansville; one brother, Jim (Cindy) Rexing of Evansville; a brother-in-law, Gerry Tieken and a grandson, Ryan Harter. In addition to her father, Dottie was preceded in death by a sister, Agnes Tieken. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 20, 2018 at St. Wendel Catholic Church, Rev.

Ed Schnur officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Wendel Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until 6:00 PM on Sunday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street and from 9:30 AM until service time on Monday at St. Wendel Catholic Church.
