Obituary of Douglas Haskins Douglas A. Haskins, Jr., age 76, of Painted Post, NY passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA after a long illness. Doug was born on August 16, 1941 in Elmira to Douglas and Irene (Reynolds) Haskins, Sr He was a graduate of Painted Post High School in 1960 and served in the Air Force from 1960 to 1969 in the USA, Germany, and Thailand.

Doug married Diane Fish on June 30, 1962 in Corning. He worked for Polly-O Dairy for over 33 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, was an avid sports enthusiast and a life-long Yankees fan.

Doug enjoyed spending time at the lake with his family and friends, but most of all treasured his time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Diane; sons, Joe (Candis) Haskins of Colombia, SC, Michael (Beth) Haskins of Campbell, and Tim Haskins of Painted Post; sisters, Anna (Marshall) Hilligus of Campbell, Nancy (David) Hiney of Corning, and Terry Mancuso of New Orleans, LA; grandchildren, Collin, Taylor, Joshua, Jessica, Caitlin, Josh, and Jada; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many devoted friends. Doug was predeceased by his brother, Robert Haskins; grandson, Jonathan; father, Douglas; mother, Irene (Francis) Woodward.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 17th from 1 – 3 PM at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First Street in Corning where funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM with Pastor Jefferey Becker officiating.
