Obituary of Joanne Harrison Joanne B. Harrison, age 80, of Hornby, NY was born on March 31, 1938 to Richard and Gladys (Teets) Reynolds. She lived a full life with love, laughter, joy and to the fullest that she could. She passed away at home, the way she wanted on March 31, 2018 surrounded by her family.

She married Theodore C. Harrison on July 30, 1955. They shared 60 years together until his passing in 2015. She worked at the Ames Dept.

Store in Painted Post, Pressware in Corning and belonged to the Hornby Fire Dept. Women’s Auxiliary. She also attended the Shady Grove Wesleyan Church.

Joanne loved crocheting and watching birds in her bird feeders. She is survived by five children: Quinton Harrison of Hornby, Carl (Dora) Harrison, Roswell, NM, Barbara (Douglas) Bierwiler of Beaver Dams, John Harrison of Hornby, Lena (Fred) Bills Hornby; sisters: Roberta Kirk of Addison, Helen Share of Rochester, NY, Susan (Nevin) Womelsdorf, Addison, NY, Nancy Osatchuck of Cherryville, NC, Suzanne Rowe of Corning, NY ; grandchildren: Michael and Andrew Harrison of Roswell, NM, April (Michael) Stanko of Beaver Dams, Jason Bierwiler of Horseheads, NY, Dustan (Jodi) Bierwiler of Millport, NY, Joshua Harrison of Orlando, FL, Cory Harrison of Watkins Glen,NY, Brandi (Matt) Usher of Hornby, NY, Fred Bills Jr. of Hornby, NY, Toshua Harrison of Dundee, NY; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with her parents she was predeceased by her sister and brother in law, Lucinda and Thomas Elliot; grandson: Jordon P. Harrison; nephews: Paul Elliot, Douglas Osatchuck; brothers in law: Clayton Kirk, Fred Share Sr. and Patrick Osatchuck.

Family and friends are invited to call at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney St. Corning, NY on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 2:00pm-4:00pm. A gathering will be held at the Hornby Fire Department, 4860 Hornby Road, Beaver Dams, NY, immediately following.
