Henr Vlazore , February 26, 1963 — June 24, 2018

Obituary of Henry Lazore Henry V. Lazore, age 55, of Corning, NY passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at home in Corning. Henry was born February 26, 1963 in Massena, NY. He was the son of Henry E. and Shirley A. (Wheeler) Lazore.

He will be remembered by his family and friends as a fun-loving guy. He enjoyed his family, our Sunday morning coffee time, family get-togethers and loved to sit on his front porch. Henry will be remembered as a great brother or great friend who always helped with anything needed.

In his lifetime he enjoyed camping, hunting, golfing, football, bowling including 10 years co-chairing the TBI Bowling Tournament. He loved music and knew the lyrics to almost every song and he would often make up his own words to the songs. His most proud accomplishment was being a father.

His son, Garrett was his world and he spent countless hours traveling to games and watching his son play lacrosse. Henry was a journeyman carpenter for 10 years and then had a 22-year career at the Eaton Corporation in Horseheads NY. He was always proud of the work he did and thoroughly enjoyed the people he worked with.

He is survived by his beloved son Garrett Lazore of Corning; his father: Henry E. Lazore of Painted Post; his siblings: Rita (Leo) Shauger of Corning, Gina (Bob) Townsend of Corning, Arlene Hodge of Corning, Albert (Tammy) Lazore of Corning, Michelle (Tracy) Lines of Corning, mother in law: Violet Loud of Painted Post; sisters-in-law: Bonetta (Bill) Laird and Karen (Dennis) Mann; brothers-in-law: Everett (Sue) Loud and Kurtis (Kim) Loud. He is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Gloria Loud–Lazore last year.

Henry and Gloria shared a life of 30 years together. He was also predeceased by his mother, Shirley Lazore; father in law Everett Loud; brothers in law: James “Emmer” Hodge and Bill Pope; and his niece, Nicole Bavisotto Stigers. Family and friends are invited to call at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney St. Corning, NY on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 1:00pm-3:00pm and 5:00pm-8:00pm.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 29th at 12:00 noon at Carpenter’s with Rev. Connie Seifert officiating. Burial at Hope Cemetery will immediately follow the service on Friday.
