Obituary of Ramona Plate Ramona A. Plate, age 70, of Corning, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born on June 12, 1948 in Elmira, the daughter of the late Albert and the late Harriett Marie Augustine. She married Gary Lee Plate on January 7, 1967 in Elmira Heights.

Ramona was a loving wife; mother, sister, and grandmother and she retired from the Corning Painted Post School District. She was blessed with crafting talents, she loved music, and she celebrated life. She is survived by her husband, Gary Lee Plate, son, Allen L. Plate of Painted Post, daughters, Debbie (Andre) Pryer of North Carolina, Tounja (Brian) Gee of Painted Post, and Amber (Jason) Felker of Corning, sister, Mary Ann Lowe of Florida, grandchildren, Laurie, Jessie, Joshua, Korey, Jaquelle, and Jayda, several great grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew, and many friends, neighbors, and colleagues.
