Obituary of Deborah Crane Deborah Ann Crane, age 66, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, formerly of Addison, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018. She was born on May 23, 1951 in Elmira, the daughter of James and Barbara (Lowe) Carr. She married M. Thomas Crane on November 14, 1969.

Debbie could light up a room—her stature, signature auburn hair, and winning smile radiated warmth and beauty. A model of selflessness, Debbie never mentioned or complained about her own health problems, but concentrated on all the positives of life. She was devoted to family and friends–if you were related by blood, marriage, or simply “adopted” by Debbie, you could count on her undying loyalty.

She was a model of elegance, compassion, and love, and her absence will leave a void in many hearts. She is survived by her husband; M. Thomas Crane, sons; Mark (Penny), Tim (Dawn), and Tadd (Chloe) Crane, siblings; James Carr (Mary), Barb Carr-Painter (Glenn), Lorie Carr, and David Carr (Candy), brothers-in-law; Richard Crane (Betsy), James Crane (Ligia), sisters-in-law; Karyl Hammond (David), Jeanne Smith (Pete), and Mary Welsh. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Deborah was predeceased by her parents; her son Todd Crane; her sister, Elizabeth Soper, and her sister-in-law, Dr. Janet Crane. It was Deborah’s wish that there be no formal services. A graveside ceremony will take place at Addison Rural Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make donations to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, NY 13790 or go to www. cancer.org. Local arrangements are entrusted to Carpenter-Flint Funeral Home of Addison.
